PHLOVE fishing games: rooms, ammo, and session cost

How fish-shooting rooms advertised on PHLOVE differ from slots, and how ammo cost can empty a balance.

Fishing games (also called fish shooting or fish hunter) were a core PHLOVE category alongside slots. You aim at moving targets and spend credits per shot. The screen looks like a skill game. The cost is still a stake, and the hit result is still controlled by the game’s math.

How a room charges you

Each shot has a cannon value. Raising that value makes targets pay more when they break, and it spends more on every miss. A room that feels “cheap” at the lowest cannon can become expensive if you hold the fire button while the value is high.

Boss fish and special weapons are the features people remember. Read whether a weapon spends a flat fee, a multiplier of the cannon, or a separate balance. The session notes cover how the old PHLOVE fish posts described these rooms.

What skill does and does not do

Aiming can change which target you select. It does not guarantee the target breaks. Many titles roll the catch chance on the server when the shot lands. A perfect crosshair on a large fish can still miss.

Switching rooms does not recover the credits you already spent. Treat a room change as a new decision, with the same cash stop you set at the start.
